There's no single best Marketo managed support company. The right one depends on your size, your wider Adobe stack and the regions you work in. It also depends on how much day-to-day work you want to hand over. This shortlist covers four firms profiled in the MarTech Partners directory for Adobe Marketo Engage: Deloitte Digital, HCLTech, Infosys and Merkle.
For each firm, we set out what the public record shows and, separately, what the firm says about itself. It then compares them in one table and explains how to choose. Firms appear in alphabetical order, and none of them paid to be included.
How did we build this shortlist?
We started from the records our researchers keep for each firm under Adobe Marketo Engage, following our published research methodology. Those records hold public facts such as headquarters, size, founding year and partner program labels, plus notes on what we couldn't verify.
We then read each firm's own website for what it says about its Adobe and Marketo work. Those statements are the firms' own claims. We report them as claims and haven't tested them.
Two limits are worth stating plainly. First, none of the four records includes third-party review ratings. Second, the records hold little Marketo-specific evidence, such as named Marketo case studies or Marketo certification counts. So treat this as a starting shortlist for your own checks, not a verdict.
A word on the labels you'll see. Adobe's Solution Partner Program has four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. We give a firm's level only where its record doesn't flag it as unconfirmed. Size is the band in our record, with any company-provided figure marked as such.
What makes a good Marketo managed support company?
A good one has Marketo skills you can verify, a named team, clear service level agreements (SLAs), careful access rules and reports you can use. Size and brand matter less than who actually works in your instance each week.
Keep these criteria in mind as you read the firm summaries:
- Marketo-specific people. Ask for Adobe certification badge links for the people on your account. Adobe's badges open a page that verifies the holder.
- Adobe program standing. Check the firm's listing and product specializations in Adobe's partner directory.
- Service shape. Look for a ticketed model, written SLAs, monthly reports and documentation kept in your systems.
- CRM depth. Much Marketo trouble starts in the Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics sync.
- Fit. Think about regions, time zones, languages and minimum engagement size.
Our guide to Adobe Marketo Engage support services explains each of these criteria in more depth.
The four Marketo Engage firms on this shortlist
Each summary keeps what our directory record shows apart from what the firm says on its own website. Figures marked as company-provided come from the firm, not from independent checks.
Deloitte Digital
What the public record shows. Our record lists Deloitte Digital as headquartered in New York and part of Deloitte, which has more than 450,000 employees globally. Its Adobe tier is not confirmed in Adobe's directory at our last check, so look the firm up there before relying on any level.
The record also lists AWS Premier Consulting Partner and Google Certified Company status. It notes that Deloitte publicly documents its Adobe alliance, but doesn't publish Adobe-practice headcount or certification counts separately.
What the firm says. Deloitte Digital's Adobe alliance page describes joint work across customer experience, generative AI, analytics and automation. In January 2026 it announced a business-to-business (B2B) buying group service for the high-tech industry. It says the service gives access to several Adobe products, including Adobe Marketo Engage. We didn't find a page on its site describing a Marketo-specific managed support service.
HCLTech
What the public record shows. Our record lists HCLTech as headquartered in Noida, India, and founded in 1976, with more than 220,000 employees. The record lists HCLTech as a Platinum Solution Partner in Adobe's Solution Partner Program. It also lists AWS Premier Consulting Partner, Salesforce Summit Partner and Google Cloud Premier Partner status. It notes that Adobe-specific certification counts and practice size aren't published separately.
What the firm says. HCLTech's Adobe page says it has more than 15 years of partnership with Adobe and describes itself as an Adobe Platinum Partner. It says its Adobe services include strategy, implementation, migration, integration, managed services and ongoing optimization. The page doesn't single out Marketo Engage.
Infosys
What the public record shows. Our record lists Infosys as headquartered in Bengaluru, India, and founded in 1981, with more than 300,000 employees. The record lists Infosys as a Platinum Solution Partner in Adobe's Solution Partner Program. It also lists AWS Premier Consulting Partner, Salesforce Summit Partner and Google Cloud Premier Partner status. The record notes that Adobe-practice headcount and certification counts aren't published separately, and that public case-study detail varies by industry.
What the firm says. Infosys's Adobe alliance page presents its Adobe practice as Infosys x Blue Acorn iCi and calls it a Global Platinum Adobe Partner. Marketo Engage is one of the Adobe products listed on that page. The page also cites a 2021 Adobe Digital Experience Delivery Quality Partner of the Year award.
Merkle
What the public record shows. Our record lists Merkle as headquartered in Columbia, United States, and founded in 1971, with more than 16,000 employees. It describes Merkle as dentsu's customer experience management specialist. The record lists Google Sales Partner and Salesforce Summit Partner status. Its Adobe tier is not confirmed in Adobe's directory at our last check.
What the firm says. Merkle's Adobe partnership page says it holds more than 450 certifications and describes Merkle as one of four Global Platinum Partners. That's the firm's own claim, so check it against Adobe's partner directory. Dentsu's site also carries a Merkle piece on what Marketo Engage offers B2B brands.
How do the four firms compare?
The table sets the directory records side by side. It shows public facts from our records only, not the firms' own claims.
| Firm | Headquarters | Size in record | Adobe level in record | Main gap in record |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deloitte Digital | New York, US | 5,000+ (part of Deloitte) | Tier not confirmed in Adobe's directory at our last check | No Adobe practice figures |
| HCLTech | Noida, India | 5,000+ | Platinum | No Adobe certification counts |
| Infosys | Bengaluru, India | 5,000+ | Platinum | No Adobe practice figures |
| Merkle | Columbia, US | 5,000+ | Tier not confirmed in Adobe's directory at our last check | No Adobe certification counts |

How should you choose between these Marketo support firms?
Choose on fit, not size. These four differ most in scale, how much of the Adobe stack they cover and where they work from, so start there.
- Scale. All four records show more than 5,000 employees. Large firms can staff big, multi-region programs, while a mid-size account should ask how senior its day-to-day team would be. Either way, ask who would actually work on your account.
- Wider Adobe scope. If Marketo is one part of a larger Adobe program, a firm that works across the stack may suit you. If you only need Marketo run well, ask for Marketo-specific references.
- Service shape. Ask whether managed support is a defined service with SLAs and reports, or staff time on a statement of work.
- Regions and hours. Match the firm's delivery locations to your time zones and languages.
- Minimums. Ask early about the smallest engagement they take. It saves time on both sides.
A worked example
Here's how one buyer might use the list. Picture a software company with about 300 staff, one Marketo admin, Salesforce as its CRM, and teams in North America and Europe. It wants a provider to take over builds and monitoring while the admin focuses on scoring and reporting.
It sends all four firms the same brief and SLA table. It asks each one whether Marketo managed support is a defined service, who would staff the account and what the minimum engagement is. Suppose two of them reply with named people, badge links and a Marketo reference. Those two go into a paid pilot, and the company compares turnaround, quality and reporting before signing.
Whatever you decide, confirm tiers and specializations in Adobe's partner directory. Our explainer on Adobe partner tiers covers what a Platinum or Gold level does and doesn't tell you.
What should you ask each firm before signing?
Ask for evidence you can check, not adjectives. Send every firm the same questions, so the answers line up.
- Which named people would work on our instance, and can we see their Adobe certification badge links?
- Can you share a Marketo managed support reference from a company like ours?
- What are your SLAs for first response, urgent fixes and standard builds, and in which hours?
- Can we see a sample monthly report and a sample runbook?
- How do you handle access: named logins, roles and API users?
- How do you work with Adobe Support when a problem turns out to be a product fault?
- What happens at the end of the contract, including documentation, handover and access removal?
Our step-by-step guide on how to hire a Marketo support partner shows how to turn the answers into a scored comparison and a paid pilot.
What about independent Marketo specialists and freelancers?
A note on other kinds of providers: this section is general guidance and names no firms. Beyond the four firms on this shortlist, plenty of Marketo work is done by independent consultants, small specialist agencies and freelancers. We haven't researched them for this list, so we don't name any.
They can suit focused jobs like audits, scoring rebuilds or a few hours of admin a week. Adobe gives you two ways to check them. Its partner directory can be filtered for Marketo Engage. Adobe also runs a Marketo Engage Champion program that recognizes expert practitioners each year, which signals community standing but isn't a service guarantee.
For any individual, ask for certification badge links and two references. Agree a backup plan for holidays and illness, and keep all documentation in your own systems.
How can you verify a Marketo partner's claims?
Check every claim against a source the firm doesn't control. It's quicker than it sounds.
- Partner tier and specializations. Look the firm up in Adobe's partner directory. Adobe says achieved specializations appear on a partner's directory listing and expire every two years unless renewed.
- Certifications. Click each badge link. Adobe's badges open a page that verifies the holder, and Adobe certifications must be renewed every two years.
- References. Speak to a current client, not just a past one, and ask what they'd change.
- Work in your instance. During a pilot, Marketo's Audit Trail shows who changed what. It's a fair check that the named team is the team doing the work.
What to do next
Turn the shortlist into a decision in a few steps.
- Write down your scope, volumes, regions and the SLA table you need.
- Check each firm's tier and specializations in Adobe's partner directory.
- Send the same questions to every firm you're considering.
- Ask for named people, badge links, a reference and a sample report.
- Set a budget using our guide to Marketo managed support costs, then run a short paid pilot with your preferred firm.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which company is best for Marketo managed support?
No single company is best for everyone. The right fit depends on your size, regions, wider Adobe stack and how much work you want to hand over. This shortlist covers four firms profiled for Marketo Engage, in alphabetical order: Deloitte Digital, HCLTech, Infosys and Merkle. Compare them on named people, verifiable certifications, SLAs and references rather than brand.
Does a Platinum Adobe partner give better Marketo support?
Not necessarily. A partnership level such as Silver, Gold or Platinum reflects a firm's overall relationship with Adobe, not its Marketo depth. Product specializations are more specific, and Adobe shows them on the partner's directory listing. Even then, the people assigned to your account matter most, so ask for their certification badges and a Marketo reference.
How do I check whether a firm is an Adobe partner?
Search for it in Adobe's partner directory, which Adobe links from its Marketo Engage partners page with a Marketo Engage filter. The listing shows the firm's partnership level and any approved specializations. Levels in Adobe's Solution Partner Program run Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Why does this list include only four firms?
These are firms our directory profiles for Adobe Marketo Engage from public evidence, under our published methodology. Many more firms and independent consultants do Marketo work. We don't name providers we haven't researched, so use Adobe's partner directory and your own checks to widen the field if you need more options.
Can a freelancer handle Marketo managed support?
A capable freelancer can handle focused projects and a modest weekly workload. The limit is coverage, since one person can't cover holidays, illness and launch peaks alone. If you hire one, verify certification badges, take references, agree a backup arrangement and make sure documentation lives in your own systems rather than theirs.
Did any firm pay to appear in this shortlist?
No. MarTech Partners is an independent directory, and no firm pays for placement. These firms appear because our directory profiles them for Adobe Marketo Engage, and they're listed alphabetically. Facts come from our directory records, and anything a firm says about itself is labelled as the firm's own claim.
