Correcting a Listing

We compile profiles from public information, and public information is sometimes wrong, stale or incomplete. If you represent a listed firm and something on your profile needs attention, use the request buttons on the profile itself — each maps to a specific workflow our team runs:

• Request Verification — ask us to re-check your profile against current public sources; useful after a tier change, acquisition or rebrand.
• Request an Edit — corrections to factual fields: company name, website, headquarters and office locations, platforms and products delivered, partnership information, company size, geographic coverage, industries and capabilities.
• Report Incorrect Information — flag a specific claim you believe is factually wrong; tell us what is wrong and, ideally, point us to a public source showing the correct fact.
• Request Listing Removal — ask us to review whether your listing should come down.

How Requests Are Handled

Every request is processed by our research team by hand — there is no self-service dashboard and no direct database access for listed firms, which is deliberate: it keeps every published fact behind the same editorial checks. We aim to acknowledge every request and to resolve straightforward factual edits quickly.

Removal is assessed case by case. Because profiles are built from information already public, being listed is not something we treat as requiring consent, and removal is therefore not automatic — but we genuinely review every request, and we weigh circumstances such as ceased operations, mergers and demonstrable harm.

Readers who are not affiliated with a firm are equally welcome to flag errors through the contact page; several of our best corrections have come from candidates and customers who knew the facts on the ground.
